Venaya is a financial tracking tool, not a financial advisor. These terms explain what the app is, what it is not, and what you can expect from us.
Important
Venaya is not a financial advisor. The Venaya Score is pure math calculated from data you enter. It is not a credit score, investment advice, or a prediction about your financial future. Always consult a qualified professional before making significant financial decisions.
What Venaya is
Venaya is a personal finance tracking application. It helps you record transactions manually, understand spending habits, set savings goals, and view a calculated financial health score. It is a tool for financial awareness, not financial management.
What Venaya is not
Venaya is not a bank, broker, investment advisor, insurance provider, or licensed financial advisor. The Venaya Score is calculated from the data you enter using a fixed algorithm — it is not a credit score, financial forecast, or recommendation to take any financial action. Always consult a qualified professional before making significant financial decisions.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials private. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Venaya will never ask for your password outside the secure login flow.
Your data
All financial data you enter belongs to you. You can export or delete it at any time from Settings. Venaya does not claim ownership of the information you enter. See the Privacy Policy for full details on how data is stored and protected.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Venaya to violate any applicable law, attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems, reverse-engineer the application, or submit false or misleading data with the intent to manipulate features.
Free and paid plans
Venaya offers a free core experience. Paid plans for advanced features (deeper insights, forecasting, teams, business workflows) may be introduced. Paid access is managed through Stripe. You will be clearly informed before any charge is made. You may cancel at any time.
AI-powered features
Venaya's Coach feature uses Anthropic's API to generate responses based on context you provide. Receipt scanning may use an AI model to extract transaction data from images. These features are assistive — Venaya does not guarantee their accuracy and you should verify all extracted data before saving.
Service availability
Venaya is provided 'as is' during the public beta. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change, improve, or be removed as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated in advance.
Limitation of liability
Venaya is not liable for financial losses arising from decisions made based on information shown in the app. The application is a manual tracking and awareness tool. You are solely responsible for the financial decisions you make.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Switzerland, unless mandatory local consumer law requires otherwise in your jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Venaya expands. Material changes will be communicated by email and via an in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
